Ohio Fever is a competitive level softball organization that offers five levels of competitive league/tournament play (U10, U12, U14, U16, U18). 

Player fees and game structure (i.e. playing in a weekday league and/or tournaments only) will depend on the age level, the ability of the team, and ultimately the decision of the head coach. 

2026 TRYOUT SCHEDULE

  • ALL TRYOUTS ARE AT STOW-MUNROE FALLS HIGH SCHOOL SOFTBALL FIELDS located at 3227 Graham Rd, Stow (fields are off Newcomer Road behind high school)
  • Please arrive 30 minutes early to complete paperwork. Players must warm up prior to tryout, be in softball attire (NO SHORTS) and bring water.
  • All participants must be registered prior to trying out.
  • Please contact the head coach listed below for individual questions or to schedule a private tryout if you are unable to make the designated times.

League Structure

6-7-8 years of age

An introduction to fast-pitch softball specifically designed for 6, 7, and 8-year-old girls.

8-9-10 years of age

A fast-pitch softball league for girls under the age of 10. 

11-12 years of age

A fast-pitch softball league for girls under the age of 12. 

Ohio Fever Elite

10U, U12, U14, U16, and U18

Stow Youth Softball manages a travel fastpitch softball program called Ohio Fever Elite.

Mission Statement

Stow Youth Softball is a non-profit registered 501c(3) organization comprised of volunteers who are focused on the instruction, coaching, support, and development of all participants in the sport of fastpitch softball. The design of the program is to provide a positive and meaningful experience to the participants while encouraging ongoing interest and athletic development in the sport. The board members, volunteers, parents, players, coaches, managers, and spectators will adhere and follow the Six Pillars of Stow’s Character Counts Program – Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring and Citizenship.
